Samar Ali

Co-Founder

Samar Ali co-founded and serves as a Director at Lodestone Advisory Group, where she specializes in economic development, nonprofit strategy, and management. Samar’s experience includes both public and private sector engagements. Prior to Lodestone, she served as Assistant Commissioner of International Affairs for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Samar is a former White House Fellow, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member. She serves on the Boards of Winrock International, the St. Jude Leadership Board, and the Vanderbilt Law School Board of Advisors. Samar received the 2018 White House Fellows IMPACT Award, 2018 Vanderbilt Young Alumni Achievement Award, and the 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Tennessean.

Samar received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School and her B.S. in Political Science with Honors from Vanderbilt University.
