Dr. COLM REILLY

Senior Advisor

Dr. Colm Reilly is a Senior Advisor to Lodestone Advisory Group, bringing 30+ years of international experience. Colm has built a successful track record in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Economic Development, and Strategy including R&D, International Trade, and Foreign Direct Investment. He is a renowned thought leader in the areas of economic development, research multi-national companies (Novartis, Fujitsu, and Electrolux), where he had increasingly significant management and leadership roles with full P&L and operational responsibilities. Colm is also a serial entrepreneur who has successfully launched and exited two startup companies -Eureto and Aviareto- both of which are still in operation to this date. Colm has and continues to operate internationally across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Previously, Colm spent more than a decade as a Senior Partner and member of the executive team at PA Consulting Group, where he headed their government and economic development practices and was responsible for delivering commercial mandates on behalf of clients and governments across the world. During Colm’s tenure at PA Consulting, many of the operations he led and established were pioneering and the first of their kind -including the UK Foreign Direct Investment national operation, the integration of Research Councils, the first Japanese overseas initiative to attract and launch startups, the Sirius program (the first global accelerator), and the creation of a MENA Hub for the international acceleration of technology companies. These and other projects have required the development of innovative new strategies and solutions within existing organizational structures and regulations to address new, emerging challenges of significant complexity that have required a blend of people, process, and commercial skills.

Colm currently serves on several corporate boards, predominantly in bringing their aspirations, objectives, and strategies into operational reality. Central to all of these efforts is the appropriate integration of scientific research and technology into one another to produce commercial value. As such, Colm has worked with several academic and research institutions in the past, including Cambridge University, Stanford University, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, University College London, and Imperial College London.

Colm earned his Ph.D. from TCD/EU, where he also completed the MSc in Business Administration and Management. He also received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from University College Dublin. Colm is a certified accountant and associate member of the Institute of Certified Accountants in the UK.
